Feather & Black collapse

A Chichester-based bedroom furnishings maker, Feather & Black entered administration on 27 November 2017. 

The furniture chain is owned by the Wade family, which also owns furniture retailer Multiyork which also fell into administration earlier this month. Feather & Black has 25 retail stores across the UK and employs 123 people, who are all now at risk of losing their job as a result of the administration. Duff & Phelps was appointed administrator and is seeking a buyer for the business as a going concern.
